I'm confused

So recently I have been reacquainted with friends from the past. It has been a great experience reliving old times and getting caught up on the new happenings in life. In most cases it feels just like the old days, and no time had really passed between us. Then there are some others where things seem awkward. Not necessarily because of things that happened in the past but more like we have grown apart or never really knew each other. I feel as though I should not just brush these people off as they are interested in getting to know me? I might have done a selfish thing, but I needed to know if they fit in my life. I let some time pass to ponder the meaning of our relationship. I realized that I was wondering the how, what, and whens. I would plop down at the computer box hoping for an E-mail. People even started asking me how so-and-so was. It was at this point I realized that maybe they do have a place in my life. It took me a little while to find the right wording to explain my absence and lack of communication. I really felt bad for letting the situation get to the point it had. So I reached out. I explained where I was mentally and said that I would like to pursue a relationship, lets start over fresh and give this thing a try. I thought all was good and hopefully this would get things back on track. I received a response I was not expecting. I was told that per my wishes I would not be contacted again. ?????? I wasn't sure what this meant. I had not said that, in fact I said the exact opposite. I responded again to that effect and got another reply saying that they misunderstood me. Now I feel really bad and hope things are not worse off then before I sent my initial apology. I really want to add another friend to my circle, and hope that I didn't just ruin those chances.

Set aside a couple of days to spend at our house.

So the news came out in the last couple of days of a new Guitar Hero game. I paid no heed to this as I already knew about it (or so I thought). You see I am geared up for Guitar Hero Smash Hits
coming out on 6.16. It basically is going back and taking songs off the first 3 games and adding the drums and vocals. I got very excited to hear that the songs that got me into this game would now be available to wail on. Even more exciting to me is the Rockband Beatles game coming out on 9.9.09. Get it 9,9,9.... No you probably don't, it's a Beatles thing. Anyways that is sure to be the seed of another theme party! So I thought my plastic guitar thirst would be quenched for the remainder of the year with these well spaced games. Then today I actually paid attention to the chatter I was hearing. Evidently there are more things in store for the year! Guitar Hero 5 will be out on 9.1.09 with the likes of Santana, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, Kings of Leon, and a lot more to be announced. Looks to be 85 new songs on this one. Then there is Band Hero, aimed at the family band, Pop 40 hits mostly. Might pass on this one, depends on the track list. Then there is the Van Halen themed game. I have never been really big on these guys, but it might be a lot of fun, No official release date yet, just sometime in the second half of the year. Wow you say! Too much right? Wrong! Then there is the Lego Rockband in the "Holiday 09" season. Way to capitalize on X-mas heart strings. Looks to be like the Band Hero thing, aimed towards kids and families. Maybe another pass, but it does combine two of my favorite things. Enough you say? No sir! This little gem popped up in the Internet today. Not on my radar currently but it might be worth a try sometime. DJ Hero. Go ahead take a guess what this is? That's right it is a rhythm game played with a turn table shaped controller! Over 100 songs from 80 artists and 80 brand-new mixes that have never been heard before. There looks to be some really big names attached to this. Well as big as a rapper can get.

My blog is back, Hay na, Hay na, my blog is back.

Yea, yea I know, what the hell? Where have you been? Well the nicer the weather got outside the less ambition I had to log in and post. But most of you asked me already, so I'm not sure why I am repeating that. So I've been outside ALOT. My house other's houses. In the month and a half since I have last seen you. I have......Cleaned my yard, cleaned other's yards, played paintball, Redsox/Mets game, built a porch, birthday parties, dinner out with friends, mowed at least twice, cruised around in a BMW for a week. got caught up on all our DVR'd shows, got a sketch and autograph from one of my favorite comic artists, went to see Wolverine, Fast and Furious, Angels and Demons, closed in a screen porch, started printing T-shirts for Robstock. That might cover pretty much it, oh wait no, I went and saw Tommy's cover band and visited with Mike too. there that's it. Upcoming I have to pick up a load of wood for my parents, buy a ladder, Seadogs on Monday, Phish next Saturday with Matt and Brett. I want to squeeze in paintball, go to see UP, knock out the front window in the living room, download some new music, go see a Mets game at Citi Field (anyone up for a weekend road trip?), Mow again, spend some quality time with the new Guitar Hero, and find a way to make a little extra cash to pay for all this. Sounds pretty much like the typical life of Melis and I, absolutely no free time. and you wonder why I haven't been blogging?
